Danny “3D” Mitchell

Raised in the slums of State Park, Illinois Danny “3D’’ Mitchell grew up in a life of crime, gangs, and criminal activity. Due to broken relationships and the neglect of his biological father, “3D” starting acting out in school and committing crimes, which eventually landed him in juvenile prison. That is where “3D” cried out to God for help and God came through and rescued him. Unfortunately, that wasn’t enough for “3D” because he loved the street life so much that he went back to it. Addiction found him as a teen and plagued his life thereafter. “3D” had kids at a young age and made a vow to himself that he would never be like his dad… however addiction made most of his decisions. DCFS eventually got involved. Due to drug use and prison stays they took his rights away. Crippled by depression and regret he would return to his vomit again and again. Driven by faith and the desire to do better “3D” finally surrendered his life to God and has since been delivered from addiction, depression, and regrets. God has reunited him with his family and has been making a way for him ever since.
